Best beach for photos
Coming back from holiday and not posting a single photo on social media? Does that even happen nowadays? I think it’s rare. So, for the most beautiful photo shoot, we highly recommend Mallorca beach Calo des Moro.
This beach is an hour’s drive from Palma in the south-east of the island and is best reached by car. If you don’t have your own car, book a transfer and don’t worry about a thing. From the car park to the beach you will have to walk for about 15-20 minutes, while creating new shots for future photo albums.
You may already know this beach from postcard images. Calo des Moro, like Cap Formentor, has long been a trademark of the island of Mallorca. It is a small cosy beach with incredible scenery and very turquoise water. We recommend arriving early, as there are more people wanting to get to this one of Mallorca’s best beaches than there is space on the beach.
Mallorca’s best naturist beach
55 minutes from Palma there is a long strip of white sand beach Es Trenc, known as a nudist beach. It is also one of the best beaches in Mallorca for its beauty and length. Don’t be intimidated by the fact that you’ll have to go nude or watch naked people wandering around. The beach is long and has both a nudist part and a regular part, where everyone wears swimming costumes. Minus of the beach – parking at the car park of this beach costs 7 euros.
The best beach for fishing in Mallorca
Cala Deia is hidden between the rocks and its pebbly 70 metre beach somehow even smells of fish. The rocky mountains and underwater caves make it a favourite with fishermen, as the fish love the area. The beach is a 50-minute drive from Palma, not far from Palma. Deia town, but you’re lucky to get parked. In general, for fishing, it’s perfect! For photos it is better to go to Calo des Moro.
Best snorkelling beach
Snorkelling and seeing more than just sand underwater is a treat! And if you brought your snorkel with you, you’re on your way to Cala Maioris. This place is located 25 minutes from Palma. 5 minutes down the cliffs and a multitude of fish, sea creatures and coral await you. It is much more interesting to see the underwater world than just swimming.

Alcudia Beach has become the top of the best beaches in Mallorca for holidays with children. And this is based on the opinions of hundreds of thousands of tourists. Playa Alcudia is located 40 minutes from the capital of Majorca. It is a beautiful long beach with white sand and a gentle shallow entrance to the sea.
