A walk along the cobbled streets of Valldemossa, an excursion to the Carthusian monastery and its gardens, a cup of coffee with the famous Mallorcan coca de patata bun - this is what awaits us at the beginning of a tour of the old town of Mallorca.
The observation deck of Sa Foradada is trampled by millions of people. This is the hallmark of the west coast of Mallorca. Michael Douglas was also mesmerized by the beauty of this cape. This influenced the decision to buy an estate here. Still, the view is worth it!
The village of Deia enchants with tranquility. This city is built on a hill in the middle of a mountain valley. Hiking around Deia is a delight. At every step you can stop and admire the panorama. This town has always been appreciated by artists, writers, musicians and stars. Among them: Duke Luis Salvador, Pierce Brosnan, Princess Diana and others.
From Deia, the excursion along this route moves to another beautiful town - Soller. It is considered the most French city in Mallorca. Its architecture is very similar to French Provence. Soller is a very cozy town. The main one is the Constitution Square, where the Church of St. Bartolomeu was located a long time ago. From here you can take a tram ride to the port of Soller, or return on an old wooden train to Palma.
Whether you choose the tram or not, the next point of our excursion is the port of Soller. By the way, the beach here is very nice, so you can bring a swimsuit and towels for a swim. At your request, in the port of Soller you can dine on freshly caught fish or taste the famous local ice cream.
